These galleries are the records of trips we have made over the years, some for work, some for leisure. There's also some galleries on nature, and some for family and friends.

Here I am, sitting on a large tree log on the banks of the Susitna River in Talkeetna, Alaska during our trip there in 2004. We had just spent three days hiking in the mountains, so we were in recovery mode.

I take photos as a record of our trips for us, which means my focus in on recording what was important to us on a particular trip and, of course, this means that others may find my perspective weird or banal. But that said, when I'm planning a trip, I like to see pictures of the places we are going, so hopefully some of my photos can be useful to others.
